Is VALORAE a clipping agency or a clipping community?
Both, on different sites. VALORAE Arc is the agency podcasts and founders hire to cut and post clips. VALORAE Cast is the Discord community that pays editors starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views. A side-by-side table, the money direction, and which one you are looking for.
Short answer
Both, on different sites. VALORAE Arc is the agency podcasts and founders hire to cut and post clips: 500+ videos delivered, 10M+ views generated. VALORAE Cast is the network on discord.gg/valoraecast that pays editors starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views on campaign clips.
500+ videos delivered on one site. Starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views paid on another. Both carry the VALORAE name, and the answer to the question in the title is both, on different sites.
VALORAE Arc is the clipping agency. Podcasts and founders hire it, and it cuts, captions and posts the clips.
VALORAE Cast is the clipping community. Editors and clippers join it on Discord, and it pays them per 1,000 views on campaign clips.
I run both, and for most of this year the two got confused in my own inbox.
A podcaster booked a call with Arc and opened by asking what our per-view rate was, because he had read the Cast page first and assumed it was the same offer.
I nearly quoted him a rate that was written for the opposite side of the table.
That mistake is why this post exists. He was right to ask.
Step 1: the agency, who hires Arc and what it delivers (four receipts)
Arc sells to people who own footage. A podcast host with a back catalogue, a founder who films a lot and posts little, a show that records weekly and has never clipped an episode.
The service is the whole lane: pick the moment, cut it, caption it, post it across platforms, and report what happened.
Arc has no public price list, but an in-house campaign starts from $1,000 and a public campaign has a $2,000 minimum.
Those are floors. The rest of the price is scoped on a call, against your show.
The receipts are the numbers Arc puts on its own homepage: 500+ videos delivered, 10M+ views generated, 65%+ retention, 1000+ posts uploaded.
But a receipt is only as good as the admission next to it, so here it is.
Those four figures describe past work, not a forecast for your show. Your clips will land above or below them.
The public face of that work is on x.com/VALORAEARC and youtube.com/@ValoraeArc. The long argument for hiring an agency at all is in Arc's post on clipping agency vs in-house editor at https://www.valoraearc.com/blog/clipping-agency-vs-in-house-editor.
Step 2: the network, who joins Cast and what it pays
Cast is not an agency. It is a community, and the only door into it is discord.gg/valoraecast.
People join to learn clipping and editing in the open and to take paid work through the same room. One door, both jobs.
Campaign clips pay starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views, and the rate is on valoraecast.com before anyone cuts anything.
The live campaign's terms are $0.80 per 1,000 views, a 1,000-view minimum, a $300 cap per clip and a 24-hour review.
So the comparator matters. The public benchmark for pay-per-view clipping is Whop's Content Rewards. Its docs page at docs.whop.com, read on 25 September 2026, describes the rate as something each campaign sets per 1,000 views, with a $3 rate and a $6 minimum payout as the worked example.
The honest read of Cast's starting rate sits in the post on how much clippers make at https://valoraecast.com/blog/how-much-clippers-make.html, which is where the advertised numbers get separated from the realised ones.
Cast isn't a funnel.
I want to defend that line, because the obvious assumption is that the community exists to feed the agency. It does not.
A podcaster who wanders into the Discord is not pitched Arc, and an editor who joins Cast is not signing up for anything except the rooms and the campaigns.
The bench is shared behind the scenes, which I wrote up at https://valoraehq.com/blog/what-the-group-shares-and-what-it-does-not.html. But the community is not a sales page with a Discord logo on it.
Step 3: the comparison table, side by side
Same group, opposite sides of the transaction.
Read it top to bottom.
| Arc | Cast | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Clipping agency | Clipping and editing community on Discord |
| Who it is for | Podcasts and founders who own footage | Editors and clippers who want to learn and get paid |
| Money moves | You pay Arc: in-house from $1,000, public campaigns $2,000 minimum | Cast pays you, starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views on campaign clips |
| What you get | Clips cut, captioned, posted, reported | Rooms, reviews, campaigns, a paid Elite tier priced on the site |
| Proof | 500+ videos, 10M+ views, 65%+ retention, 1000+ posts | The rate is on the page before you cut |
| Where it lives | valoraearc.com | discord.gg/valoraecast |
The line that took me longest to write is the Elite one.
Cast has a paid tier, its price shows on valoraecast.com in whatever currency you arrive with, and printing one number here would be wrong for anyone arriving with a different one.
Then there is the question of what the table does for search. Ahrefs found that comparison pages earn 2.4x the AI mentions of pages without one, so this table is doing a job beyond clearing up my inbox, and I would rather say that out loud.
Step 4: which one you are looking for
Ask one question. Do you own footage, or do you want to be paid for cutting someone else's?
If you own footage, you want Arc.
Read the post on what podcast clipping costs at https://www.valoraearc.com/blog/podcast-clipping-cost before you book, so the call is about your show and not about the invoice.
If you want to be paid for cutting, you want Cast.
Then read the post on whether to pay for a clipping community at https://valoraecast.com/blog/should-you-pay-for-a-clipping-community.html first, because the answer for most people is no, and I say that as the person who runs one with a paid tier.
If you are a podcaster who wants a per-view deal instead of an agency, neither of these is it, and Arc's post on pay-per-view clipping marketplaces at https://www.valoraearc.com/blog/pay-per-view-clipping-marketplaces explains what is.
That last case is the podcaster from the top of this post. He wanted a marketplace and had found a community and an agency, and none of my pages told him the difference until this one.
Step 5: where each one lives
Arc is at https://www.valoraearc.com, with its blog at /blog and its public work on x.com/VALORAEARC and youtube.com/@ValoraeArc.
Cast is at https://valoraecast.com, with its blog at /blog, and the only invite that exists is discord.gg/valoraecast. If an invite link reaches you from anywhere else, it is not ours.
The group sits at valoraehq.com, and I am at tgsidd.com.
One structural note for anyone marking up their own group.
The vocabulary at schema.org/Organization, read on 25 September 2026, has a subOrganization property for a company that includes another and a member property for people who belong to one.
Arc is the first kind of thing. Cast's editors are the second, and that is the cleanest way I have found to say what the difference is.
I did not know if running both under one name would work, and the inbox confusion says it half did not.
So the fix was not a rebrand. It was this page.
The short version
Hire Arc if you own footage and want it cut and posted.
Join Cast if you want to be paid per 1,000 views for cutting.
Do not expect either to be the other, the money moves in opposite directions.
Read the rate before you cut, and the campaign terms before you count the money.
Use the only Discord invite, discord.gg/valoraecast, and ignore the rest.
This is how the group is arranged at valoraehq.com.
Frequently asked questions
Is VALORAE Arc the same thing as VALORAE Cast?
Neither. Arc is an agency you hire and Cast is a community for the people doing the cutting. A pay-per-view marketplace is a third thing, and Arc's post on pay-per-view clipping marketplaces explains what it is.
See the brands.
VALORAE runs Arc for podcast clipping, Media for video-first social management and Cast as the creator and editor network. Shop, the apparel arm, is upcoming.
