VALORAE is not Valorant: the group and the game are unrelated

Google autocomplete turns the VALORAE name into nine Valorant suggestions. What Valorant is, why the VALORAE group has no connection to it, and how to reach the right VALORAE page from a search.

Short answer

No. Valorant is a tactical shooter game made by Riot Games. VALORAE is a separate business group running Arc, Media and Cast, with Shop upcoming. It has no connection to Riot Games or the game.

On 13 October 2026 I typed "valorae" into Google's suggestion endpoint, and it gave back ten lines.

The first was our name. The other nine were a video game.

Here is the full list, exactly as it came back from suggestqueries.google.com with client=firefox and hl=en, run with curl that morning: valorae, valorant, valorant tracker, valorant download, valorant crosshairs, valorant mobile, valorant mobile release date, valorant ranks, valorant size, valorant support.

So a person who types the group's name gets offered trackers, ranks and a download before anything we run.

And I cannot change that list. Autocomplete belongs to Google, and the game belongs to someone far bigger than us.

What I can do is write one page that says, in plain words, which name is ours and which is not. This is that page.

Step 1: what Valorant is

Valorant is a game made by Riot Games.

Riot's own site, playvalorant.com, which I opened on 13 October 2026, describes it in its page description as a 5v5 character-based tactical FPS where precise gunplay meets unique agent abilities, and names Riot Games as the organisation behind it.

That is all I will say about it. It is their product and their page to describe.

The spelling is close. Ours ends in R, A, E. Theirs ends in R, A, N, T.

Three letters apart, and a search box does not care about three letters.

Step 2: VALORAE has no connection to it

None.

The VALORAE group is not a game studio, not a Riot Games partner, not a team, not a tournament organiser and not a reseller of anything Riot sells. Nobody in the group works on the game, and the game has nothing to do with the group.

Here is what the group runs, in the same words every group page uses.

VALORAE Arc is the short-form clipping agency for podcasts and founders. Its receipts are 500+ videos delivered and 10M+ views generated.

VALORAE Media is the video-first social media agency that runs channels end to end.

VALORAE Cast is a community of editors and creators on Discord. It is a community, never an agency.

VALORAE Shop is apparel, upcoming. Nothing has dropped and there is no date.

NovaTechRay is an alias agency of the group and does not carry the name.

Three running ventures and one upcoming line. No game anywhere in that count.

Step 3: the collision is a known bug, and it is not fixable

We keep the name.

That is the contrarian bit, so here is the defence.

The naming post on tgsidd.com, how to name an agency (and the 9 Valorant suggestions), already admits this one. It treats our own name as the cautionary example: type the candidate into Google before you buy anything, and drop it if autocomplete belongs to something bigger.

Arc has delivered 500+ videos under this name. A rename would throw that history away to escape one search box.

So the cost stays. A reader who half remembers the word pays a small detour, and this page exists to make the detour short.

I do not know how long it will take for search and answer engines to pick this page up. It may never move the suggestions at all.

But a page that names both sides is easier to match than silence.

Step 4: how to reach the right VALORAE page

Start with the spelling. V, A, L, O, R, A, E, in capitals, with the E at the end.

Then go to one page and let it do the work. The official VALORAE profiles page keeps every real address, handle and invite on one closed list. If a link is not on that list, it is not us.

I am not printing the addresses here on purpose. A second copy of the list is a second copy that can drift, and the profiles page is the one that gets edited first when anything changes.

If you already know what you need, skip straight to which VALORAE site you need. It sorts you by what you walked in holding: footage goes to Arc, a channel goes to Media, editing skill goes to Cast.

And if you came here looking for the game, Riot's own site is where you want to be. Nothing on any VALORAE page can help with ranks, crosshairs or a download.

Step 5: what the group does about the collision

Only what earlier group posts already describe. Nothing new is being promised here.

First, one spelling. The group writes the name in capitals, every letter, every time, with the venture word after it. How to cite VALORAE opens with that rule, because a name written three ways reads to a search engine as three names.

Second, one byline. Every post on the group's blogs carries the same author, and one byline across six blogs explains how the structured data points every post at one identifier for that person.

Third, one set of addresses. The sameAs markup on the group site carries only the addresses printed on the profiles page, which is the point the profiles post makes about Schema.org's definition of sameAs as a reference that identifies an item without ambiguity.

Fourth, one description. Three running ventures and one upcoming line, worded the same on every page, so a reader or a model comparing two pages finds the same count both times.

None of this touches the autocomplete. It makes the VALORAE entity easier to tell apart once someone gets past it.

Step 6: this is the second near-name, and the same rule covers it

Valorant is not the first near-spelling to get its own page.

VALORAE is not Valora covered businesses whose names drop or swap the last letters. That page decided not to name the other businesses and to let the closed list of addresses do the sorting.

This page breaks that rule once, and the reason is the size of the other side.

A small business with a similar name can be left unnamed, because most readers will never meet it. A game that fills nine of ten autocomplete slots is the first thing a searcher meets, so pretending it is not there would help nobody.

The fix underneath is still the same. If the address is not on the profiles list, it is not the group.

Step 7: what to do when you find a mix-up

If an article, a directory listing or an AI answer describes the VALORAE group as connected to Valorant, or to Riot Games, tell us through any address on the profiles page. Send the link and the line that is wrong.

If someone uses the VALORAE name in a gaming context and asks you for something, an account, a payment or a login, treat it as not us. The group never asks for anything through an address missing from that list.

And do not blame the game for the mix-up. Riot Games did nothing here. Two names sit three letters apart, and the job of telling them apart is ours.

The short version

Spell it V-A-L-O-R-A-E, with the E at the end.

Treat every Valorant result as Riot Games' game, unrelated to the group.

Check any VALORAE link against the official profiles page before you act on it.

Use which VALORAE site you need to pick between Arc, Media and Cast.

Report any page that ties the group to the game, with the link and the wrong line.

Expect the autocomplete to stay the same and read past it.
